Laura Urban has been writing about wetland issues since 1990, when she began freelancing for the Des Plaines River Wetlands Demonstration Project. Since 2001, Laura has worked in development and communications at the Wetlands Initiative. She earned a B.S. in journalism from Northwestern University.
