The Wetlands Initiative is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell, trade, or provide your name or contact information, including email address, to any other organization. We will not conduct telephone solicitation.

We do not use this web site to collect any personally identifiable information about you other than what you provide voluntarily on our Contact Us or Donate pages.

We will only use your contact information for mailings pertaining to the mission and work of The Wetlands Initiative. If you provide us with an email address, we will use it only to distribute our own quarterly newsletters. At any time, you may choose to “unsubscribe” to the newsletter by following the instructions on the newsletter or email us to opt out.

Online donations are processed through Skipjack Financial Services. Skipjack provides the highest levels of security available. Transactions are encrypted (secured) from the customer to the gateway. Credit card data is not stored by The Wetlands Initiative; only the last five digits of the credit card are viewable by TWI from online donations. Each credit card transaction that is stored on Skipjack’s servers is individually encrypted using patent pending technology. Even in the unlikely event that one transaction is compromised, the rest remain intact.

Credit card donations made in writing will be entered into Skipjack by TWI staff. We will destroy your credit card information in our TWI office after the transaction is completed.

Our donor lists will be published in our Annual Report, which is posted on our web site and made available to the public. You can request to have your name removed from the published list.
