Volunteer

Volunteers are essential to the Wetlands Initiative’s restoration projects and we host seasonal volunteer events at our sites, including a spring garlic mustard pull (usually in May), summer plug planting (in June), and fall seed collecting (in September and October).

If you’re interested in joining a volunteer event, please watch our Upcoming Events page for details or sign up for our e-newsletter to receive announcements.

At Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie, we also host an annual Corporate Volunteer Day every June for companies and their employees. If your company is interested in being part of this fun, team-building day, please contact TWI at 312-922-0777 for more information.
